WHO WE ARE
Seehafer Broadcasting started in 1960, when founder Don Seehafer purchased his first radio station in St. Peter, MN. Seehafer Broadcasting set its roots in Manitowoc, WI, in 1970 with the purchase of local radio station WOMT, and has been headquartered in Manitowoc ever since.
Don Seehafer continued to own and grow Seehafer Broadcasting, at times owning as many as 10 stations, until his son Mark Seehafer took over as President and owner in 2015.
Seehafer Broadcasting currently owns six radio stations, including WOMT - AM/FM, WCUB - AM/FM, WLKN - FM, WQTC - FM, WLTU - FM, and WEMP - FM, all of which are in Manitowoc County.
Seehafer Broadcasting also owns and operates the Seehafer News website and app.
Seehafer Broadcasting and Seehafer News have been awarded multiple Awards for Excellence by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, most recently earning Station of the Year and Social and Digital Operation of the Year in 2021.
